Dortmund, Germany – September 18–20, 2025. The world’s largest tobacco trade fair, InterTabac Dortmund 2025, brought together over 500 global exhibitors and nearly 19,000 industry participants at the Messe Dortmund exhibition center. Among cigars, cigarettes, and next-generation products, one innovation stole the spotlight: the transparent vape tank.
This new design trend, showcased across leading e-cigarette brands, marks the industry’s transition into the era of “visualized vaping experiences.”
Covering 40,000 square meters, InterTabac is Europe’s most influential tobacco and smoking accessories exhibition. Unlike previous years, more than 60% of e-cigarette exhibitors highlighted transparent vape tank technology as their core showcase. From entry-level models with clear refillable pods to advanced tanks with measurement markings, these products dominated the main display areas.
The shift is unmistakable: non-transparent, closed vape pods are being phased out, while clear, user-friendly designs are becoming the new standard.

This not only allows users to visually monitor e-liquid levels but also reduces dry-burn risks at the source.”
The user-centric advantages of transparent tanks were evident at the interactive demo zones, where crowds lined up to try devices. Visitors praised the design’s “visible safety” and ease of use.
